The wager will certain your friend does his/her job and it will also keep you from failing.

Sugar is probably the number one reason people are overweight. If you want to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks then you have to cut it out completely. Remove the following foods:
Soft drinks- Full-sugar and Diet drinks. Drink water.
Cereals- Most cereals are full of sugar. If you are going to have cereal find one without sugar.

Muesli bars etc.- These ‘so-called’ healthy snacks are not always healthy, much of the time they have a very high sugar content level. You don’t need them.

The best thing to do is eat plenty of carbs for breakfast, maybe a small amount at lunch and none after 3 o’clock. This is because after 3 or 4 in the afternoon your body does not have enough time to burn excess carbs and they can easily turn to fat.
Number 4-Avoid All Soda/Juice/Energy Drinks, Just Drink Water!
Throw out your soft drinks (even diet ones), all fruit juices and any so-called healthy drinks, for example vitamin water. All these drinks do is fill you withsugar and make you fat. Switch to water! Just by doing this alone you are bound to lose a few pounds.
Number 5- Throw Out All Your Snack Foods

Number 6- Get A Friend To Help You
Get a friend to help you reach your goals. I like to make a bet with someone to give me extra pressure to succeed. For example I tell a friend I will give them 100 dollars if I don’t reach my weight loss goal. You will be surprised how well it works.
Number 7- Make An Investment For long-term Weight Loss
The two most important things in successful weight loss are personal motivation and knowledge. Without motivation you won’t be able to reach your goals. But without knowledge you won’t know how to reach them. Invest in a good diet program and get a head start on most people out there.

You should eat a good helping of carbs at breakfast and then some around lunch time, but after that you have to stop. Carbs are really important for our body. They create energy which fuels us throughout the day. However, if we eat carbs after 3 or 4 it will most likely be turned into excess fat. Because our body doesn’t have time to burn all that energy (calories) they carbohydrates create.
Avoid Soft Drinks
Avoid drinking soft drinks because they are full of sugar and they will lead to weight gain. Especially avoid drinking diet drinks like diet coke, these are even worse for weight loss than sugar drinks and they are much worse for your overall health. Don’t think fruit juices are good either, they have just as much sugar as most soft drinks. If you are thirsty just drink water.

2. You need to do at least 1 hour of rigorous exercise per day. Without some good hard exercise there is no way you are going to succeed in burning 20 pounds. If you are really serious about your goal, then hire a personal trainer for a week. A personal trainer will optimize your routine for the best possible results and he/she will push you more than you can push yourself.
3. The best possible thing you could do would be sign-up to a 7-day weight loss boot camp where everything is controlled and monitored.

2. Cut out any soft drinks or fruit juices. Drink water instead of sugary drinks, yes even fruit juice contains a ton of sugar which can easily turn into fat.

What I am going to recommend is just some good healthy methods that work. When it comes to losing weight, never turn to starvation diets, cabbage soup diets or any other extreme diet. These diets don’t work and they will only end up making you fatter in the long run.

For woman: BMR = 655 + (4.7 x your height in inches)+ (4.35 x your weight in lbs) – (4.7 x your age in years)
For men: BMR= 66 ++ (12.7 x your height in inches) + (6.23 x your weight in pounds) – (6.8 x your age in years)
2.Calculate your Active metabolic rate (AMR)
The AMR is worked out by estimating the amount of exercise you do on a weekly basis. You don’t have to be exact, you only need an estimate:
For Both Men & Women
No/very little exercise: AMR equals BMR x 1.2
Light exercise: AMR equals BMR x 1.375
Moderate exercise: AMR equals BMR x 1.55
A lot of exercise: AMR equals BMR x 1.725
Extreme amount of exercise: AMR equals BMR x 1.9
3) Now you have a base amount of calories which you should be eating. Remember to never eat under your BMR because that can be very dangerous and can lead to health problems.
