It’s more expensive to lose than to gain weight, it also takes longer to lose than to gain weight. Anyone struggling with over overweight related issues will tell you that they want the fastest yet a safe way to to lose weight. Here is a how to lose 20 pounds in a month guide, it is based around some principles I have learned from the Diet Solution Program as well as some that I have just come up with myself.
Follow These Steps
To be successful in weight loss you have to flexible, not rigid. Try to follow my basic principles, but if you need to make changed to suite your personal situation, then go ahead. No one diet experience is ever really the same.
Number 1- You Need To Exercise
20 Pounds is not an easy target to reach, even if you have a month to do it in. If you want to make sure you reach your goal then you need to exercise for an hour 5-6 times a week. I recommend you do any form of cardio that you like, it can be fast walking, jogging, swimming, shadow boxing and the list goes on.
Number 2- You Need To Control Your Calorie Intake
Eat anywhere from 1020-1200 Calories per day (for women). Counting calories can be annoying in the beginning, but it is really a great skill to have.
Number 3- Carbs Are Not Your Enemy, Just Choose The Time To Eat Them
You are going to need carbs to get you through your exercise, they are also really important for your phsyical and mental state on a diet. The best thing to do is eat plenty of carbs for breakfast, maybe a small amount at lunch and none after 3 o’clock. This is because after 3 or 4 in the afternoon your body does not have enough time to burn excess carbs and they can easily turn to fat.
Number 4-Avoid All Soda/Juice/Energy Drinks, Just Drink Water!
Throw out your soft drinks (even diet ones), all fruit juices and any so-called healthy drinks, for example vitamin water. All these drinks do is fill you withsugar and make you fat. Switch to water! Just by doing this alone you are bound to lose a few pounds.
Number 5- Throw Out All Your Snack Foods
Throw out all snack foods, even the ones you think are healthy (example: muesli bars etc.). Instead of these snacks eat fruit or celery when you are hungry. This is another killer tip in my how to lose weight in a month guide.
Number 6- Get A Friend To Help You
Get a friend to help you reach your goals. I like to make a bet with someone to give me extra pressure to succeed. For example I tell a friend I will give them 100 dollars if I don’t reach my weight loss goal. You will be surprised how well it works.
Number 7- Make An Investment For long-term Weight Loss
The two most important things in successful weight loss are personal motivation and knowledge. Without motivation you won’t be able to reach your goals. But without knowledge you won’t know how to reach them. Invest in a good diet program and get a head start on most people out there.
