What you need:
15 ounces chilli flavoured beans
1 pound lean ground beef, chilli meat
I green chopped pepper
I medium chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
15 ounce diced tomato
6 ounce of tomato paste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Chilli powder (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Total time: 60 minutes
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
- Place on tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, then add onion, garlic and green pepper and let cook until soft and lightly browned.
- Add the meat and drain the excess oil from the saucepan.
- Add the diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Bring to boil then reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 35-40 minutes.
- Add salt, chilli powder and black pepper to taste. Serve it hot.
